International Economic Association

The International Economic Association is looking for a full-time editor with an Economics or Public Policy background to collaborate with women economists in the developing world to facilitate the dissemination of their academic and policy research in a variety of formats (ranging from opinion columns to research summaries). He or she will maintain the IEA’s partnerships with global and national publication outlets and platforms. The successful candidate will have the capacity to distill the essence of the argument, focus on the key findings and present a clear and lucid case for why the results are important. (This is a remote position).

The person should have the following qualifications: 

1. A graduate degree (Masters or PhD or equivalent) in economics or public policy (latter with an economics background), ideally obtained not earlier than the last 6-7 years

2. Work experience in similar positions (4-5 years ideal)

3. Proficiency in English language communication

Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualification.
