MACROECONOMIC MODELLING FOR R&D AND INNOVATION POLICIES

The objective of the roundtable is to promote a technical debate on the recent development of macroeconomic models of endogenous growth, the main mechanism at play and their use to assess the impact of R&D and innovatio policies. Focus will also be placed in discussing the modelling of relevan European Policies such as FPs or policy supporting SMEs, heterogeneous fir models and their advantages in dealing with firm-level innovation and th distinction between basic (public) and private research.
